What's your policy on spam?
-
Can my industry's jargon hurt my website.
Depends on your targeted audience.
For example, a website geared to engineers will be expected to have engineering jargon by the user and search engine.
On the other hand, if your are in a business that makes heavy use of non-negative terms, then it will harm you. Like using the phrase "Pre-Owned Cars" instead of "Used Cars"
It's always best to use the common phrases and terms. In writing for the web, its important to keep it simple and use everyday phrases that people will look for and understand.

Why can't i find my site in the search engines?
There are a number of factors involved, first is typically a new site won't show up in the search engine results for a few weeks.
The second is your content for your site. If it was designed without being phrase and keyword-rich in mind, then you might not find your site easily.
When I right content for the web, I always do so with the search engines in mind and what visitors will search for.

Why is it important to score well in Search Engines?
-
Do certain technologies interfere with search engines?
-
Do you submit my site to the search engines regularly?
No. Such actions will harm your site, and by extension, your business goals.
Mass Submissions will only result in your site getting ignored.
My policy is to setup your site via the Web Master Tools provided by Google, Yahoo, and MSN upon launch, install standardized xml sitemaps, build your site according to proper coding standards and encourage you to make monthly updates.

Can you help me get my website to appear in search engine results?
-
I use meta tags on all my pages, isn't that enough for the search engines?
Not any more.
Many search engines don't even count keywords as a relevant part of your web site anymore or ignore it completely.
We can thank search engine spammers and abusers for that.
Today, the search engines actually read your site for relevant and rich content. As a result, with every passing day meta tags become more and more irrelevant.

I've seen sites get to the top of Google overnight, why can't you do the same?
Any site that gets to the top of Google overnight is a site that's about to get deleted and most likely banned by their search index.
I use naturalistic link building techniques to build genuine trust between the search engines and your site. It's not enough to be top dog in the search engines, you must be trusted as a reliable source of information as well.
Cheating in the Search Engines is never rewarded and brutally punished.
One of my client's competitors cheated in the search engine and had nearly 60% saturation on Google, now they are lucky if they have one listing on the front page.
