Do you pay referrals?

Do you do Spec Work?
No.
Spec Work, or Speculative Work, or simple work done under the assumption that if it makes money, then I might get paid is not what I do. fSpec Work as a whole devalues and hurts the web design industry while seriously harming the customer's reputation as well.
I'll be happy to speculate about ideas for a project with you, but before I start any project, we will be discussing my pay and compensation.

How do you price websites?
-
Do you allow Adult websites?
It is my policy NOT to host any adult content on the servers. There are various legal and logistical reasons as to why I chose to initiate this policy.
Further more, I will not allow hate-speech sites, sites that encourage or support violence, and otherwise criminal activities to go on the servers

How much does a web site cost?
All web sites are different.
I charge based upon how much work I do, what you want done, and costs of licensing software and code to create the site you want.
All of my prices are based in reality. I won't charge you $2,000 custom designed site and deliver a $55 template website. My sites are hand designed to serve your needs and priced accordingly.

-
Why should I choose you over older firms?
For the same reason you came to my site in the first place ;)
The point is this. Look at my portfolio, look at my body of work. That is the web design experience and talents I have to present. Compare that with another firm and make your choice.
I present all of my customers here, ones I have great standings with and ones I've had falling outs with. Why, because you can ask all of them this question.
"Does the site work for you?"
And the answer is a resounding "Yes."
-
Do I need to hire a "local" web site designer?
-
Do you have a web design price-list I can see?
Yes and No.
I don't post my price list for web design, graphic arts, etc online as they are merely a guide for me issue quotes with.
I can itemize web design features for your project if need be.

I'm operating under a fixed budget, what can you do for me?
Let's be realistic.
I'm not going to undersell my talents no more than you would take a major pay and benefit cut. If you are operating under a fixed budget, then I'll be happy to sit down with you and create a site that works within your budget and is realistic in relationship to your budget.
-
Can I choose you to design my site and use my own web hosting?
Yes.
But I'll need to know who is hosting you and what they offer to create a website that functions properly on your server.
Many web hosts are different with rules and limitations that vary from one host to another. These limitations are impact the operation of your site and how much I can do for you.
For example, if you want an online store and your host doesn't allow or use MySQL or a similar database program, then your host will be unable to provide the services you need for your store.
Also, be aware GoDaddy isn't very good for web hosting, despite being affordable. Anything more than a small presentation website with no interactivity on GoDaddy may prove impossible to do at that host.

I have a small website I got for free, but it's not professional, can you help?
Sure, call or email me today to discuss options for building a new site that fits your needs or cleaning up your old site to appear professional and modern.
Keep in mind, that despite your original site you got elsewhere was free, my services are not. I can offer you a free consultation and advice on your site but for any actual work I do, they must be paid for.
