Renters need More Protection

It dawned on me that while Obama’s Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act of 2009 is great for protecting unsuspecting renters from sudden eviction by a bank in the event of foreclosure, but it does nothing to protect renters, like myself, who have found out about the forclosure, has deadbeat landlords who are trying to evict me so they can scam someone else.

Even now, as I write this from work, my slumlord lanlord could be looting my home.

How is it that life has come to this?

Obama’s legislation should’ve allowed for a stay on any eviction proceedings when a home enters into forclosure.  Owner or Bank initated.

But it doesn’t.

But that is the problem.  We have a legislative body, party doesn’t matter, that isn’t interested in the public welfare, but it keeping their jobs.   The legislature shouldn’t worry about getting reelected, they should be concerned with improving the life of all americans, not letting foreign powers and interests rip us all off.
