Lines of Truth

In today’s day and age, it’s good to know that knowledge can be summed up into age-old axioms of wisdom. I thought I’d start compiling a list of items and one liners that everyone should know.

The Trust Factors

  1. Everybody lies, so don’t trust their words.
  2. Never trust a traitor because if they can betray one person, they can betray you.
  3. Only fools and jackasses trust salesmen.
  4. There is no such thing as an Honest Person, just Relativity to the Perception of the Truth.
  5. It takes one to break trust, it takes forever to rebuild it.
  6. If someone tells you a secret, then how can you trust them with your secrets.
  7. Allow all to trust you, as knowledge will come to you and knowledge is power.
  8. A white lie is still a lie.

Business Success

  1. Having a lower price doesn’t mean cutting your neck, just means you’re cutting your competitor’s neck for them.
  2. Don’t sell to my generation, because we are jaded by your sales methods. Serve us well and we’ll buy.
  3. The best prices in the whole world won’t make up for a lack of a useful product.
  4. Having no sign outside your office is equal to a stupid suicide
  5. Smile and Laugh, not because it’s funny but because it’s a human reflex to help break ice.
  6. When cheap, people buy on quality. When expensive, people buy on cheap.
  7. A Union of Division can reveal hidden divides.

Politics, War, and Drama

  1. The key to victory is to be both your own ally, yourself, and your enemy as all reveal your enemy’s true weakness and reveal your true enemies.
  2. Choose your opponent’s battlefield for him
  3. Denial of Resources and Allies can turn a battle.

To Debate

  1. Never raise your voice, as your opponent will also and neither will be heard.
  2. When interrupted, start over.
  3. Expose Fallacies, then state your point.
  4. The strongest counter point is a stronger offensive point

On the Blissful Topic of Ignorance

  1. Ignorance will lead to folly.
  2. If you cannot sway ignorance, then let it stand alone.
  3. Be Responsible and take the right action.
  4. Ignorance is not an excuse.

To Whom it May Concern

My old friends, and others, are no doubt aware of the terrible time I have had in my projects recently, and will be glad to know that I will be back to resuming them ... ready to swap wit, dispense commentary, make jokes, split hairs and perform other matters of interest.
